My Goal

Today, I told my father that I no longer wanted to spend time in school but rather wanted to self learn things online. In other words I told him I wanted to do all my main academic courses online  next year. This idea had been on my mind since grade 8, and in fact, I remember that back in Grade 9 I wrote an essay trying unsuccessfully to convince my father. The reason why I wanted to do courses online is because I felt that a lot of school material could have been learned in a shorter amount of time. To back up this statement: 1. I was able to study grade 11 and 12 Physics as well as first year college Physics in two months 2. Some teachers are not passionate about their subject matter, and in fact one watched golf tournaments during our class and never taught, which made me realize that I could have learned some courses at a much faster pace  3. Instead of aiming to study for grades, I would be able to truly learn the material 4. Most importantly, I wanted to work on self assigned projects, such as my stationery and website/advertising management business, youtube, and music. Surprisingly, after two hours of conversation my father agreed to my plan. To be completely frank, I was not expecting this outcome at all since we often have difficulties being on the same page. So next year, my goal is to finish the one year course by September and I would like to challenge myself to see how many courses I can do in a short amount of time. At the same time, I would like to focus on creating youtube content that could make people laugh and touch their hearts, as well as creating funny commercials for the stationery business and expanding it by working hard.

While doing this I would definitely want to work hard on improving my producing and dj skills, simultaneously working towards creating my album. In conclusion, my ultimate goal before I graduate is to finish my album, do my best to become more knowledgeable, challenge myself to do something people have never done, expand my stationery business, and lastly change people’s lives with my creative pieces.
