My Burning Desire

When I was a little kid, I was always excited by the idea of becoming a spy. Their elegance, intelligence, and their athletic prowess were astonishing. I always watched spy movies and thought to myself, “Wow, I want to be like that one day”. I believe I have been street smart and sneaky since I was little. For example, I often unlocked my dad’s phone after finding out his password by pretending to sleep and peaking over his shoulder. Also, I used to steal money that my father dropped on the sofa when he lay down and took naps. Additionally, I recently found a way to hack into the wifi system to unlock his wifi time restriction. This passion faded as I grew older, however, this desire came back a few days ago. Recently, I watched a spy movie called “The Red Sparrow” and the character Dominica, who is the protagonist in this story, was very intriguing. How Dominica brilliantly used her beauty as a weapon to outsmart men, instead of letting men take power over her, was very empowering and made me want to be a better decision-maker and a more knowledgeable, and athletic person. This captivating movie made me want to read the “Red Sparrow” trilogy of books. This also motivated me to go beyond my limits and become an intelligent, strong and beautiful person with great leadership and accomplishments.
